If you're carrying pain that feels invisible to the world but heavy to you, you're not alone. I work with women who look like they have it all together, but are struggling privately, whether it's with food, how they feel about their bodies, or just trying to keep everything from falling apart. I specialize in eating disorders, disordered eating, body image, anxiety, depression, OCD, perfectionism, and low self-esteem. This is a space where you don't have to perform, explain, or fix yourself. Just come as you are, I'll meet you there. My approach Therapy with me isn't about quick fixes or surface-level talk. I focus on helping women understand the patterns beneath the struggle, especially when it comes to food, emotions, self-worth, and control. I use evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy-Enhanced (CBT-E), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), by Sue Johnson, Narrative Therapy and Attachment Theory Science work to meet you where you are and guide you toward where you want to be. Some days that means learning practical tools. Other days it means sitting with hard feelings you've been avoiding for years. Either way, we'll do it together, with care, curiosity and clarity. My focus I work with women who are tired of fighting silent battles with food and their bodies, women who may look fine to everyone else but feel stuck in cycles of binging, restricting (dieting), or quietly hating what they see in the mirror. Underneath, there's often anxiety, depression, perfectionism, or a deep sense of not being enough. You've learned how to push through, but pushing through doesn't feel like living anymore. In therapy, we slow it down. We get honest. And we begin the quiet, powerful work of helping you feel more at home in your body, and in your life. For some of the women I work with, race, culture, and systemic stress have shaped how they carry pain, and how long they've had to hide it.
