“Travis is an amazing person and therapist. Perfectly balancing professionalism while maintaining a human approach. He is always respectful and very patient, and he never stops at one approach. If one perspective or method doesn't work then he'll effortlessly switch to a different one like a master carpenter with three garages worth of tools under his belt. I can proudly say that I've made leaps and bounds thanks to his guidance, the only barriers in my way were what I allowed and never a question of how competent my therapist was. Every session, I always have more questions with a greater awareness and a new direction to explore. Every few years I come back, as the tools I've learned here have carried me far and I've even shared them with my close friends and family.”

Getting to know Travis Knowlton

I am dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care that addresses the unique needs of every individual. With a Master's in Social Work from the University of Southern California, my approach blends somatic psychotherapy, existential exploration, and personalized treatment plans to support holistic healing - mind, body, and spirit. I work collaboratively with patients to deepen self-awareness, foster resilience, and empower them to live more authentic and meaningful lives. I believe in creating a welcoming and respectful environment where patients feel heard, supported, and equipped with the tools they need to thrive.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My therapy style is collaborative, supportive, and action-oriented. I combine somatic psychotherapy, existential principles, and evidence-based practices to help you connect more deeply with your body, mind, and purpose. You can expect a respectful, non-judgmental space where we work together to explore challenges, uncover meaning, and build resilience. Sessions often blend practical tools with deeper reflection, helping you not only manage symptoms but move toward authentic growth and long-term transformation. I believe healing happens through both insight and action, and I will walk alongside you as a guide and partner in that journey.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My process is rooted in building a strong therapeutic relationship and creating a space for meaningful, lasting change. In our first sessions, we focus on understanding your goals, challenges, and unique experiences. From there, we collaboratively develop a flexible plan tailored to your needs. A typical session may include a combination of somatic exercises to help reconnect with the body, existential exploration to deepen insight, and practical strategies to support daily growth. I balance reflection with action, encouraging both emotional processing and forward movement. Throughout our work, I prioritize creating a grounded, respectful, and empowering environment where you can heal, grow, and thrive.
