Getting to know Tre'von Peoples

I have a passion for therapy as I grew up with it. Treatment was there for me as a child, teenager, and even now as an adult through life’s simplest to most complex challenges. I cannot make guarantees on the outcome of therapy like any therapist. However, I strive to offer genuine support and guidance to improve your mental health. I tend to work within a humanistic client-centered approach, where I accept the client for who they are and what they bring to the session, and we work together to solve and address concerns. Depending on the client’s needs, I utilize different techniques (eclectic therapy), such as CBT, art therapy, and psychodynamic approaches, because honestly, each person is unique without a “one size fits all.” I specialize in general mental health, men’s issues, adolescent development, depressive symptoms and issues, BIPOC concerns, substance use, and LGBTQIA concerns. I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Point Loma Nazarene University, which has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to support diverse clients effectively.
