Hello, I'm Tri. Thank you for considering me as your therapist. This is your first step towards the better life that you want. Life is full of challenges, and yours is as unique as you are. I am experienced in and comfortable working with clients with diverse cultures, ethnicities, religious/spiritual beliefs, sexual orientations, and gender expressions to cope with stressors and loss, adjust to life transitions, explore and understand identities, improve self-confidence, have better relationships and communication skills, and clarify life goals. Recognizing that healing and empowerment are holistic, my counseling approach is culturally-sensitive, taking into consideration the unique cultural experiences, worldviews, and life experiences of each individual. I will empower and support you to make changes that you want in your life by improving self-awareness and setting concrete attainable goals. I understand that seeking help outside of your family and friend circles can be uncomfortable, but I encourage you to reach out to me. I offer you a safe space to talk about who you are, your life, values, challenges, and hopes. I will listen to you with respect, acceptance, and compassion and walk with you on your journey to healing, wellness, and happiness. I currently live in Denton County, Texas with my husband, daughter, and two dogs. In my free time, I love cooking, entertaining friends and family, taking long walks, and running.
