What should a new client know about working with you?

My goal with all of my clients is to make our sessions as comfortable as possible in order to create an atmosphere of healing. I do not want the client to feel that I can have an understanding of what they are feeling.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

The first session entails the client sharing a good history of themselves, and how I can best help them in our time together. The client and I will work on what goals they would like to work on moving forward, and incorporate those into the sessions moving forward. My sessions will include different therapy techniques to best help the client. Some therapy techniques that I use in sessions are Person-Centered therapy, Mindfulness, and Brainspotting.
