Getting to know Trissana Myers

Deciding to begin therapy is a big first step and you’ve made it! My goal is to help you improve your relationships, self esteem, and emotion regulation skills. I often work with new moms adjusting to motherhood, those struggling with anxiety and depression, and women of color.
What should a new client know about working with you?
We will work together to create a safe space to share the most vulnerable parts of yourself. Using various evidence-based approaches, I will challenge you to change how you think, feel, and behave, along with providing you the skills to create a life worth living. We will create goals that are essential to what you feel is important to your growth.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
Think about where your mental health journey can possibly take you in the next couple of months. There may be some tears along the way, but most importantly, there will be laughs and new found understandings, ultimately leaving you feeling proud of yourself. When I’m not working with clients, I enjoy baking, taking long walks, and listening to music.
