Have you been struggling with depressive thoughts, anxiety, self-harming behaviors, trauma, abuse, or difficult life decisions? My goal is to create a safe and encouraging environment where you'll feel supported and empowered to express yourself honestly and openly. Initiating therapy can be intimidating, but together we'll explore the root causes of your struggles, identify underlying issues, and develop a personalized plan to achieve your goals. I will provide you with the tools you need to achieve well-balanced mental health. Your sense of self may have been greatly impacted by your environment, relationships with family and friends, or the experiences you've encountered. For these reasons, your expressed needs are specifically addressed throughout the therapeutic process. I utilize a range of evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), motivational therapy, mindfulness exercises, goal-setting, and solution-focused therapy to create a treatment plan that best suits your individual needs. I am an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor and a Certified Tenured School Counselor, with over a decade of experience working with adolescents and adults. I hold an Advanced Certificate in Mental Health Counseling from Alfred University. I have a passion for supporting the human experience, placing great emphasis on individuals' perspectives. I strive to improve the lives of others by providing guidance and a safe place for them to be their authentic selves. My experiences working with diverse populations have equipped me to provide culturally sensitive therapy by respecting my clients' unique perspectives and experiences.
