Tyler Vance, LPC, LMHC

Psychotherapist
GA
I’m a person in long-term recovery, which means I’ve been substance-free since July 13th, 2016. My experiences with depression, anxiety, and self-medicating eventually became a substance use disorder, and ultimately led me to a deeper purpose in the counseling field. I understand the weight of isolation, low self-worth, and the struggle to feel “okay,” especially when things on the outside might look fine. If you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, self-image issues, substance use, relationship challenges, or overwhelming stress, I offer not just professional tools but personal understanding. I believe we must own our stories, otherwise, they end up owning us. In our work together, we’ll explore your past with curiosity and reframe it in a way that empowers rather than limits you. What once felt like a liability can become part of your strength. Therapy is a collaborative process, and the relationship is central to that healing. I draw from existential therapy and DBT to identify patterns, explore root causes, and promote real change. I believe the most fulfilling life is one rooted in peace, joy, and self-acceptance. Our goal will be to move toward that vision together. My role is to help you access the strengths already inside you and bring them forward.
