Getting to know Ulrick Accime
I'm a licensed clinical social worker located in South Florida and the founder and therapist of KAI Wellness Center. I hold a Master's in Social Work from Barry University and a Bachelor's degree from Florida Atlantic University. It has been my dream to provide individual therapy to those seeking a new start.
Our focus is making sure my clients receive the best care from me. We offer perspective and strategies after truly listening to you. During our sessions, you're encouraged to be comfortable, which fosters realistic change. We allow clients to determine their own goals and are here to facilitate personal growth. Aiding you in overcoming some of life's difficult challenges is a joy for us. We want you to feel like the person you were meant to be. Our goal is to help you feel hopeful about your future. We love working with individuals who are ready to make positive changes in their lives.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
We first need to complete a consultation. Your first appointment will be a consultation. During the next appointment, a biopsychosocial will be completed that gathers additional information about you. The following appointments will be sessions that are 45 minutes to 1 hour in length.

Ulrick is the man! It’s been awhile since I saw a therapist regularly and Ulrick has made me feel comfortable getting back into it. He is patient & calm when I go off on my tangents; I appreciate that. He asks questions I’m not thinking of that keep my brain occupied positively long after our session ends. This has been one of my best experiences with therapy! Ulrick is such a great listener and sometimes it feels like I’m just talking to a friend. What I appreciated about our sessions is that I left with tools to help me cope rather than being dependent! And that is what therapy should be.

I saw Dr. Ulrick virtually during the pandemic as I needed a therapist to talk with. I did quite a bit of research before reaching out. He was very kind and understanding. As we had our session, he became easier to talk to as I opened up and he remained kind and understanding. He is funny and will find ways to make you comfortable and will give you “homework” to apply what you all have talked about. I wanted to go a bit deeper with him in some of my sessions, but he definitely helped me to be my comfortable in myself and in my environments. I would recommend him.
