Psychotherapist
3700 Palmetto Pointe Blvd, Myrtle Beach, SC
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Supervisor (LPC, LPC/S) with nearly two decades of experience helping clients navigate depression, anxiety, trauma, family dynamics, and life transitions. I hold a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Webster University and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Saint Martin’s University. In addition, I have earned a Pastoral Counseling Certificate and am currently pursuing a Doctor of Education in Christian Leadership from Liberty University. My approach integrates evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with a faith-informed perspective for clients who desire it. I believe that healing occurs when we address the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—and I am committed to creating a safe, supportive environment where clients feel seen and empowered to grow. I work with teens (12+), adults, couples, and families to help them build healthier thought patterns, improve relationships, and discover purpose in their lives. Professional Statement I believe that lasting change happens when we combine practical therapeutic tools with deeper exploration of beliefs, values, and purpose. My role is to guide and challenge clients toward healing and growth while honoring their individual stories and faith perspectives. Together, we will work to overcome obstacles, strengthen resilience, and help you live with greater clarity and hope.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My therapy style is collaborative, direct, and supportive. I believe growth happens when clients feel both understood and gently challenged, so I work alongside you to explore the thoughts, beliefs, and patterns shaping your life. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based approaches, I help you develop practical tools to manage challenges and create lasting change. For clients who desire a faith-based approach, I integrate Christian principles into the counseling process, always respecting your beliefs and boundaries. Each session is a safe space to process, heal, and grow — with clear goals and actionable steps designed to help you move forward with purpose and confidence.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

During our first session, we’ll focus on understanding your story, current challenges, and goals for therapy. I take time to listen carefully and gather a thorough picture of your emotional, mental, and relational health so we can create a clear plan tailored to your needs. Together, we identify patterns in thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that may be keeping you stuck and develop practical, achievable steps toward change. Ongoing sessions typically combine talk therapy with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques, helping you challenge unhelpful thinking patterns and build healthier coping strategies. If you choose, we can also incorporate faith-based principles to support your growth and healing. Each session is collaborative, goal-focused, and designed to equip you with tools you can apply to daily life while fostering long-term transformation.
