“Valita is a wonderful therapist, but also I wouldn't recommend her to a friend or colleague because I don't typically like sharing a therapist with people I know. She's great, I'm just a little gate-keepy. But I would still give her advice a 10/10.”

“She is humorous, Holistic, very open minded, warm, challenging who doesn’t love a good challenge, solution oriented, direct which a lot of us need, and intelligent! I’m not going to front I was nervous and scared to do a therapy appointment because I bonded with my previous therapist and didn’t want to leave. But when I tell you, no one can’t tell me anything about Monday night therapy I looked forward to every session although I feel as though the session should be two hours and not one. I will recommend her to everyone she is one of the best. I love it here!”

Getting to know Va-Lita Morris

My career in mental health began in 2006 while working in Florida's child welfare system after receiving my BS in Gerontology from Bethune-Cookman University. I knew I wanted to further my knowledge to make a more substantial and significant impact when working with children and their families. This led me to earn my Master's in Counseling in 2009 from Webster University, after which I became a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. My clinical work experience includes working with children and their supportive caregivers who have been exposed to abuse and neglectful circumstances, adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse, and providing therapeutic interventions to inpatient adult clients who were either voluntarily or involuntarily placed at a crisis stabilization hospital. I hope you allow me to help you on your healing journey.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
