UpLift Behavioral Health providers do not issue prescriptions for substances controlled by any federal or state agency or other drugs that may be harmful because of their potential for abuse. UpLift Behavioral Health reserves the right to limit the types of medications that may be prescribed by its doctors and nurse practitioners. All prescriptions furnished by UpLift Behavioral Health care providers are issued in accordance with applicable federal and state law as well as UpLift Behavioral Health policy. I have always loved getting to know people, hearing their stories, and understanding how they think and view the world. I knew I wanted to work in a field where I could help others, and that desire, along with my personal experiences with my own therapist, led me to clinical social work. I earned my Bachelor's degree from Mount Saint Mary College and completed my Master's in Social Work at the State University of New York, Albany. I have worked in hospital, agency, and residential settings. My own personal therapy has helped me immensely, fueling my passion to assist others in resolving their issues and improving their quality of life, just as mine has been improved. I firmly believe that change is always possible, no matter how entrenched someone may feel in their current situation.
