I'm Valerie Carmel, and I have an unrelenting passion for helping melanted women shift from surviving to thriving. I dare to believe that no matter where we started, we all want to end with the same exact thing: living a life we love. As a licensed therapist, author, and speaker with a Master's in Social Work from Florida International University, I've tailored my private mental health practice to help Black and Brown purpose-driven women identify the underlying obstacles that hinder their growth. Through bespoke therapeutic solutions, growth assignments, and consistent accountability, your healing becomes a process we are equally invested in together. My mission is to advocate for the mental health of women of color and create safe spaces where they're empowered to be bold in the pursuit of wellness. At the core of each relationship, I value (and devote intentional energy to) authenticity, empowerment, acceptance, wisdom, and peace.
