Valerie Farrell, LCSW

Valerie Farrell, LCSW

Psychotherapist
FL
I grew up in Florida and graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Social Work. I began my career in a county jail mental health unit, where I became proficient in crisis intervention, assessments, and group therapy. While there, I not only logged needed clinical hours but also studied for and passed the licensing exam for the State of Florida to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Since then, I have worked at an Air Force base, offering therapy to individuals and families, as well as in a substance/mental health rehab program for the Veteran's Administration. I also volunteer with survivors of gun violence who are grieving and/or coping with trauma. I love being a therapist! It’s humbling to be a part of my clients’ lives as they heal, grow, and pursue their goals.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
