Getting to know Vanessa Andrade

If you're feeling overwhelmed, anxious or struggling with persistent sadness, therapy is a safe place to share and explore current challenges you are facing in your life: stress, anxiety, relationship issues, breaking generational cycles as a parent or unresolved past trauma. I will support and guide you in the therapeutic process to foster your healing and growth. I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 15 years of experience who is most comfortable and experienced with clients struggling with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, life transition/parenting concerns, PTSD and substance use issues. I combine Cognitive Behavioral Therapy along with EMDR to meet you where you are at, managing present day chaos while healing deeper past wounds as you are ready. I love working with clients from all backgrounds and ages. I also am sex-positive and enjoy working within/as an ally to the LGBTQIA+ community. Going to therapy for the first time can be intimidating! You can reach out to me for a 5-10 minute phone consultation to understand the process more and make sure we are a good fit.

What should a new client know about working with you?

During your first session, we will complete a biopsychosocial assessment, which helps facilitate creating a tailored treatment plan for you so you can gain a better perspective on areas of your life you want to improve upon in therapy.

In-network insurances

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
