Getting to know Vanessa Bellafiore

After a decade working in fashion and the design arts, I decided to go back to school and earn my Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology at Antioch University, Los Angeles. It was through my prior careers that I learned I not only have a curiosity for human interaction and behavior, but I also seek to discover the ways we connect with others as well as the ways we connect to ourselves. I believe the opportunity lies within relationship to ultimately return to our innate, true, and wise self. I have trained at Beit T’Shuvah, a residential addiction treatment center that integrates psychotherapy, spirituality, drug & alcohol counseling, and the creative arts. I have also trained through Outreach Concern in a high school setting offering counseling to young adults who experience issues such as child abuse, drugs, bullying, parent/child conflict, and self-destructive behaviors. I am a clinical member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT).
