Hello, I'm Dr. Vanessa Bowen. I have been providing counseling in various settings for over 20 years, with 12 years as a licensed professional. I provide services in the states of Georgia and Utah. I hold a Doctorate of Theology in Christian Counseling and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I have worked closely with Veterans, people suffering from adjustment disorder, depression, anxiety, personality disorders, couples, empty nesters, and other persons who are experiencing loss, grief, or relationship problems. My style of counseling includes cognitive behavioral therapy, helping you to improve your mental clarity by thinking and developing coping mechanisms to overcome the issues that are concerning to you. My approach utilizes motivational interviewing. I want to point out the incongruence in what you say versus what you do, so we can begin to realign your thoughts with your actions and behaviors. *Cancellation policy: Sometimes life happens, we forget and miss appointments. I will waive your first no-show/cancellation fee. Thereafter, the SonderMind cancellation fee noted in your paperwork will be enforced. You will be billed a no-show fee to the credit card we have on file.
