UpLift Behavioral Health providers do not issue prescriptions for substances controlled by any federal or state agency or other drugs that may be harmful because of their potential for abuse. UpLift Behavioral Health reserves the right to limit the types of medications that may be prescribed by its doctors and nurse practitioners. All prescriptions furnished by UpLift Behavioral Health care providers are issued in accordance with applicable federal and state law as well as UpLift Behavioral Health policy. I am a bilingual licensed mental health counselor with nine years of experience. I earned my Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy and my Bachelor's degree from the University of Central Florida. As the daughter of immigrants, I know what it is like to exist in two different worlds and not feel like you fit in either one. Children of immigrants have higher rates of depression, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress disorder. I approach counseling from a person-centered perspective and believe the client is in control of their life and their treatment. Our work will focus on developing insight, improving self-esteem, and building resiliency. I intend to create a warm, collaborative, and non-judgmental space. My goal as a therapist is to help you learn and grow as the person you want to be.
