What should a new client know about working with you?

Vanessa's eclectic approach is inquisitive and empowering. She helps you understand the elements of the mind, body and soul. This way you can learn about the unique make up of your whole self and how these elements manifest in your life, mindset and health. To master the mind, Vanessa utilizes EMDR, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Polyvagal and TFCBT. To honor the body, her eclectic approach includes somatic work and Nutritional Psychology (NP). To awaken the soul, she draws from humanistic, psychodynamic and strength-based interventions by combining shadow work, inner child healing and self-exploration.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In our first session, we do an intake where we will focus on gathering information based on your background, health and history. Most importantly, we will explore what your goals and expectations for treatment are, as well as any questions or concerns you have about the process. I develop tailored treatment plans based on individual needs, goals and aspirations. This way I can draw from the interests and values of my clients.
