Hi there, I'm Vanessa! I am Vanessa Mendoza, an LCSW in practice since 2016. I earned my Master's in Social Work from California State University, Los Angeles. I currently specialize in working with people going through life transitions. My approach I adopt an eclectic therapeutic approach. Some of my most used methods are cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused, and strength-based. My focus I work with individuals struggling with adjustment disorder, depression, and anxiety. I also work with the immigrant population and enjoy supporting first-generation individuals. My communication style I maintain an open line of communication and encourage my clients to provide feedback regarding the care they are receiving. I view our work as a partnership where together we can find solutions. My journey to mental healthcare I believe that with support, we can all work toward achieving our potential. I enjoy walking with individuals through challenging periods and witnessing their growth despite difficulties.
