What should a new client know about working with you?

Life can sometimes feel overwhelming, leaving you stuck in survival mode as you navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, or major life transitions. My goal is to help you move beyond simply getting through each day and begin creating a life that feels meaningful, balanced, and fulfilling. Through a compassionate, collaborative, and evidence-based approach, I provide a safe space where you can explore your experiences, develop healthy coping skills, and build lasting resilience. Whether you are healing from past wounds, managing present challenges, or working toward personal growth, therapy can help you gain the tools and confidence needed to thrive—not just survive.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Therapy with me is more like having a genuine conversation than sitting through a formal interview. I want you to feel comfortable enough to show up exactly as you are—whether that means laughing, crying, venting, sitting in silence, or saying, "I don't even know where to start." I believe the best therapeutic work happens when you feel safe, understood, and never judged. I'll meet you where you are while also gently challenging you to grow. Together, we'll explore the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, celebrate your progress, and develop practical tools you can use in your everyday life. I use evidence-based approaches like EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), but I don't believe therapy should feel rigid or full of clinical jargon. Instead, I tailor each session to your unique needs, personality, and goals. My hope is that you leave each session feeling heard, supported, and equipped with something meaningful to carry with you. Healing isn't about being perfect—it's about making progress, one step at a time, and I'll be there to support you throughout the journey.
