Hi there, I'm Veneis! Hi, I'm Veneis Little. I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and have practiced in my field for over 15 years. I help individuals navigate ADHD, anxiety, attachment issues, and learn to regulate difficult emotions, heal their trauma, and build healthier relationships. Those who work with me seek help to: increase self-awareness and emotion regulation; learn coping mechanisms for executive dysfunction; identify, challenge, and replace self-defeating thoughts and beliefs; recover from and understand unhealthy relationship dynamics; learn how to set healthy boundaries; improve self-esteem; and manage mood disruption. My approach My style utilizes cognitive behavioral and person-centered, strength-based approaches in a friendly yet direct, integrative, and collaborative environment. My focus I typically work with female-presenting women ages 18 to 45 who deal with neurodivergence such as ADHD. I also work with those experiencing anxiety, stress, and trauma. My communication style I have a relaxed, direct approach that encourages clients to be collaborative in their treatment. I provide structured therapy homework for clients to practice skills between sessions. My journey to mental healthcare As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, my concern for the needs of others is evidenced by my 15-year career working in various nonprofit community mental health centers, hospitals, and substance abuse treatment facilities before entering private practice. I've earned two master's degrees from Webster University: one in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and another in Business Administration. I have always enjoyed helping others become their best selves through purpose-driven work. Throughout my career, I've learned the importance of trust, integrity, ethics, and empathy-principles that form the foundation of my counseling services and business practice.
