A warm greeting to you. I am glad you are here. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Development from Azusa Pacific University. I attended California State University of San Bernardino and graduated with a Master of Social Work degree. I have a strong background in Behavioral Health. My current and past experience includes providing telehealth (virtual) therapy, in a clinic setting, and in a hospital setting. I have experience and strong skills in providing therapy to individuals who suffer from depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, personality disorders, chronic health conditions, grief therapy, crisis intervention, end-of-life counseling, stress, and coping skills. My approach My modality of choice is Acceptance and Commitment therapy; however, I do use a variety of evidence-based modalities/methods so that I can create a tailored approach for each individual and situation. I also enjoy utilizing mindfulness-based therapy practices, such as meditation and awareness exercises, to help you understand and manage your thoughts and your emotions. I combine my professional experience, my education, my professional training, my creativity, and a sense of humor with a realistic approach to Behavioral Health Therapy. My focus I have studied many modalities that bring healing. My goal as a therapist is to bring you positive, long-lasting healing and coping abilities/strategies that will help you improve your mental health as well as your overall well-being. I believe that healing is a collaborative endeavor that requires honest caring without judgment. I will cooperatively assist you with helping you create your goals for treatment. My communication style As a therapist, I consider myself to be kind, direct, open, and encouraging. I aim to prioritize clear, open communication to create a supportive, non-judgmental, safe environment.
