Getting to know Veronica Gadbury

Hi, my name is Veronica Gadbury, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with a Master's in Counseling from California State University, Northridge. I am a warm and compassionate therapist dedicated to providing a safe and supportive space where clients can build a trusting therapeutic relationship. I wholeheartedly believe that, first and foremost, the foundation of successful therapy is the therapeutic relationship itself. I am patient and committed to meeting clients exactly where they are, respecting their unique experiences. I'd be honored to get to know you and accompany you on your journey of self-awareness, self-compassion, and self-acceptance. My approach My approach is tailored specifically to the needs of each individual I work with. I use client-centered and strength-based methods, as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy, and DBT. I enjoy taking a collaborative approach to empower my clients and highlight that they are the experts of their own lives. My focus I provide individual therapy to adolescents and adults facing concerns such as anxiety, panic attacks, depression, self-esteem difficulties, family conflict, stress, and trauma. Additionally, I have experience working with women who have experienced intimate partner violence and young adults with complex trauma related to involvement in the foster care system. My goal is to help clients identify and process their emotions, develop insight and self-awareness, learn more about themselves, and facilitate empowerment through re-authoring their own stories. My communication style I believe in the power of offering clients a non-judgmental and contained space through empathetic listening and validation of their emotions and experiences to promote healing and insight. My goal is for clients to feel heard, valued, and respected.
