Hello! I'm Veronica, and I'm here to help you navigate the challenges life throws your way. At one point or another, we all experience troubles that can feel overwhelming. My goal as a mental health therapist is to provide an open, safe, and confidential space where you can discover yourself and learn healthy coping skills to process the difficult situations in your daily life. In 2016, I graduated with my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Over the past five years, I've had the privilege of working as a licensed professional counselor in various settings, including private practice, inpatient psychiatric facilities, and outpatient programs. My primary focus has been on supporting individuals with severe mental illness, helping them regain stability in their day-to-day lives. I work with children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples dealing with depression, grief, anxiety, trauma, mood disorders, family issues, ADHD, and other mental health diagnoses. I understand that taking the first step to reach out to a therapist can be daunting. With compassion and understanding, I will work with you to grow and strengthen your skills at your own pace. I utilize a combination of motivational interviewing, person-centered, and eclectic approaches to tailor our sessions to your unique needs.
