Hello, my name is Veronica, and I am a bilingual licensed mental health counselor with 13 years of experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, and their families. I hold a PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Oregon and a Master’s in Psychology from San Diego State University. My calling is to encourage and support my clients on their journeys to improving their relationships with others and, more importantly, with themselves. I believe every one of us has the power to heal and grow as individuals. Through therapy, my goal is to educate, empower, and provide clients with the necessary tools to cope with life’s challenges.

What should a new client know about working with you?

As patients, you will find a friendly and relaxing environment that will facilitate the expression of your main concerns. You will receive professional feedback and a possible action plan will be discussed.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
