Hi, my name is Veronica Pozo, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida with over 4 years of experience providing therapeutic services. I earned my Master's in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University.
I have worked in foster care, outpatient treatment programs, and private practice, assisting clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, relationship issues, difficulty coping with life changes, eating disorders, and body image issues. It takes courage to reach out, and I look forward to working with you when you're ready to share and explore the direction toward your personal growth.
What should a new client know about working with you?
I believe in a Hollistic model where therapy includes an exploration of different modalities that will meet the needs of the client. The lens of my approach is based on an understanding that there is a body and mind connection, encouraging the use of exercise, nutrition, and daily spiritual practices supporting the client’s in their overall personal growth. It takes courage to reach out, I look forward to working with you when you're ready to share and explore the direction towards your personal growth.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
