Hi! I'm Veronica, and I'm a dedicated therapist who's committed to helping individuals navigate life's challenges with clarity, confidence, and compassion.
I have a background in counseling and received my Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. My clinical experience has allowed me to work with numerous populations in settings such as community mental health, outpatient settings, and hospitals. Through this work I have supported clients work through chronic mental health symptoms, anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship difficulties, and behavioral issues.
What should a new client know about working with you?
In our first session I want to learn about you; what led you to get therapy, what you like to do, what you don't like to do, etc., We'll find areas we can build rapport on and go from there. These are your sessions and you should be comfortable with your therapist.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
I prefer an eclectic approach to therapy that is individualized to the client. I love Mindfulness and meditation and will probably incorporate that into our sessions, client willing.
