Psychotherapist

Who I work with I work with adults 30 and older who want more than coping skills—they want to understand what’s actually driving their patterns so they can finally break the cycles they keep finding themselves in. Most of my clients feel stuck in the same emotional or relational patterns and want someone who can help them make sense of the deeper “why.” Individuals and Couples I work with both individuals and couples and love doing both, because personal challenges almost always show up in relationships, and relationship patterns almost always reflect what’s happening internally. Maybe you overthink, people-please, shut down, or replay the same arguments with a partner. I help you see what’s happening underneath the surface and give practical tools to respond differently—without judgment or jargon. Experience and Approach I’m a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with over 18 years of experience. I’m certified in Relational Life Therapy (RLT) and use STAIR, a methodology that helps me understand where your brain is in the session and which tools will be most effective. My approach blends insight, clarity, and actionable strategies so you leave each session feeling equipped to make meaningful change. Why I do this I’ve been studying relationships since I was four years old. Don’t ask me why—or I might take over your whole therapy session. Over time, I realized helping people break cycles and understand the roots of their patterns is the most meaningful work I could do. Next step If you’re 30+ and ready for therapy that goes beyond coping skills—therapy that actually helps you understand your patterns and break cycles—I’d be honored to work with you.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I see adults 30 and older only. This helps me focus on the stage of life where patterns and relationship dynamics tend to be more established, and where therapy can create meaningful, lasting change. I work with both individuals and couples. Couples sessions are longer—100 minutes—and cost $425, so you can think of it as a “double session.” (ZocDoc doesn’t allow me to list separate couples rates, so I note it here for clarity.) My style is direct, clear, and compassionate. I help clients understand the patterns driving their thoughts, feelings, and relationships, and I provide guidance to help them make change in real life. I’m not passive or overly soft; I’ll point out patterns that are keeping you stuck—but always respectfully and without judgment. I use an integrative approach informed by relational work, internal parts work, and brain science. Together, we’ll explore the deeper “why” behind your patterns so you can gain clarity, develop stronger boundaries, and feel more confident in your choices. Sessions are collaborative—you’ll leave with a deeper understanding of yourself and your patterns, and greater clarity on how to navigate life and relationships more intentionally. My goal isn’t for you to stay in therapy forever; it’s for you to understand yourself in a way that creates lasting change.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Once you’ve booked a session, I like to call new clients before our first meeting to answer questions and go over logistics. In the first session, we go through a flexible intake process together. Some clients follow the framework of my intake form, while others prefer to jump right in with their hopes for our work. Either way, the session is focused on getting to know you and beginning to clarify your goals. From there, therapy is collaborative. We explore patterns, gain insight, and work toward stronger boundaries, clearer self-understanding, and healthier relationships. My goal is to help you leave each session with more clarity and a sense of direction for your next steps.
