Vicki Zeitner, LPC

Psychotherapist
OR
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with seasoned experience in every level of mental healthcare. I have worked in community mental health, crisis counseling, inpatient settings and Intensive Outpatient programs with extensive experience treating depression, anxiety, trauma and problems in relationships. My focus I welcome and respect all forms of diversity. Every person is unique and worthy of support. If you can reflect on your experience, work through some discomfort, are motivated for change, and are willing to work outside of session, we'll make a great fit. I do not treat active addictions, eating disorders, and acute psychiatric conditions here. My approach I apply evidence-based methods to address what you are needing most. For trauma, anxiety, and depression, I apply Trauma-informed Cognitive Therapy and Mindfulness-based CBT to address critical self-talk, take charge of your attention, regulate emotions and increase insight into patterns learned from your past. My communication style My communication style is personable, compassionate, and conversational. I like to ask thought-provoking and clarifying questions, understand your values, and will always honor your choices. I will offer effective tools and resources to guide and empower you outside of the session. My journey to mental healthcare I am passionate about what causes us to think, behave and make the choices we do. What I love most about therapy is creating a safe space for us to talk honestly about what matters most in your life without fear of judgment or criticism. My goals for you Most people want results from therapy, and your goals are my goals. It helps to have clear, measurable, and achievable goals to guide us in sessions. We will track progress on those goals together in each session, decide what works for you and what doesn't, and make adjustments as needed as your goals change.
