My name is Vickie Barron. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I served my internship at the Center for Psychiatry in both the Adult and Child/ Adolescent units at a local hospital. During my career, I've worked with many clients and a wide variety of diagnoses. One of the most important dynamics in the therapeutic process is creating an environment that is warm, safe, and inviting so clients will feel comfortable sharing their struggles. Understanding client struggles and setting realistic goals is imperative so that clients can see how they're progressing in therapy.
