Getting to know Vicky Baker

I am a Licensed Certified Social Work Therapist with extensive experience in individual, couples, group, and crisis therapy. My academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master’s in Social Work, both from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Additionally, I am a Licensed Evangelist Missionary and have dedicated over a decade to Women’s Ministry. I am committed to helping women and adolescent girls manage the social pressures and stressors of daily life. It is my goal to promote healthy behaviors and provide a safe space for you to take the break you need to calm your mind, process feelings and emotions, and work on being the best version of yourself.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I provide therapy that is tailored to your specific needs and experiences. My goal is to empower you with the tools and insights you need to thrive. We'll work together using evidence-based therapies like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you challenge negative thinking and create positive change. Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) will equip you with vital emotional regulation skills. And, through Psychodynamic Therapy, we can explore the roots of your current challenges, leading to greater self-understanding and healthier relationships

I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Talk Therapy in my practice. In your first session, we'll explore what brought you to therapy and then decide the most appropriate ways to help you make progress.
