Getting to know Victoria Cranford

My goal as a therapist is to make therapy an accessible and empathetic space for my clients to explore themselves. What should a new client know about working with you?

I love working with my clients to figure out how therapy can fit into their lives in an enriching way. We might be a good fit together if you are experiencing consistent anxiety, stuck in a depressive state, or would like to dive further into past experiences or attachment. I especially enjoy working with people who are new to therapy, or who are experienced with therapy but are searching for a fresh start with a different perspective or approach.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I help my clients with anxiety, OCD, ADHD, personality disorders, or depression find a more balanced life. I use a combined approach with techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), exposure and response prevention (ERP), and somatic or polyvagal exercises. A typical session length would be 50 minutes long and could either be completed in person or via telehealth. An initial intake assessment will help me get to know your background and help us determine together the best course of treatment. I also offer a free 15 minute phone consultation before booking to help us figure out if we are a good fit and to answer any questions you have.
