What should a new client know about working with you?
Clients should know that I value authenticity, collaboration, and meaningful connection in therapy. I believe humor can be a helpful part of the therapeutic process when appropriate, allowing clients to feel more comfortable and human. I work well with clients who are open-minded and ready to better understand themselves, improve coping skills, and navigate anxiety, depression, communication challenges, or life transitions. My goal is for clients to feel empowered, hopeful, and supported.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
I begin by creating a comfortable space where clients can share what they are experiencing without judgment. We explore symptoms, stressors, relationships, values, strengths, and goals for therapy. Sessions may include skill-building, emotional processing, self-reflection, and strategies to improve coping, communication, and resilience. I tailor therapy to each client’s needs while helping them reconnect with what matters most in their life.
