Getting to know Victoria Hoyt

I still love what I do after 26 years. I have extensive experience in Christian Counseling, Addiction, PTSD, Trauma, Sex-Offenders, and Obsessive-Compulsive behaviors. I currently am NOT providing therapy for couples or families. I have worked with a variety of clients ranging from ages 7 to 89, but am currently only working with adults. I am independently licensed in 3 different states as a Marriage and Family Therapist and independently licensed in 1 state as an Addiction Counselor. I believe everyone has a "gift," something that they are called to do, and Counseling is mine. I care about my clients and have the innate ability to "zone" in on what is going on with them. I use Emotional Focus Therapy, Strength-Based, Trauma-Informed, Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, but it really depends on the clients I am seeing. I admire anyone who wants to make a change and is willing to reach out and ask for help. I am here for you if you are that person. **** It's very important to remember to provide a 24-hour notice or a minimum of 2 hours (if an emergency comes up) notice if you are not going to make your session, so that you are not charged a no-show fee. ****** I am only accepting individual clients at this time. Although the appointment planner may allow it, please do not schedule appointments more than 2 weeks out. My later times are limited and I would like all my clients to have a chance to one of these slots, plus it cuts back on no-shows since we do not know if we will be able to make an appointment that far in advance. Thank you for your understanding.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

I love that she’s a Christian and can walk me through my problems with that being her lense she is filtering through.
Always helpful
Victoria holds you accountable at a level that can be uncomfortable but is so very necessary. Her stories are relatable and make me feel seen.
Victoria is exactly what I was looking for in a therapist! She is incredibly kind and has a talent for helping one feel better and to understand emotions—especially with trauma. I am truly excited because of the growth that I already see in myself and to see all the growth I will do!
