While therapy can sometimes be solely focused on the individual, even in one-on-one treatment, I believe it is important to examine the influences of the world around us on our well-being. I utilize a strengths-based, non-judgmental approach, and support you in gaining a greater understanding of yourself, your goals, and the steps you want to take moving forward. You are in control of your life, and your treatment, and I look forward to contributing as one of your many tools for growth. I received my Master's in Social Work in 2014 from Westfield State University in Westfield, MA. I have since worked with children, adolescents, young adults, and adults for nearly a decade in community, home, office, university health center, and telehealth environments. I have a background in intensive community-based treatment. I tend toward either a psychodynamic, attachment-based lens, or a solution-focused, motivational interviewing style of treatment - however as a generally eclectic provider, we can collaboratively find the right style for you. I am taking clients on SonderMind, in addition to my role as director of an intensive community-based treatment team on which I supervise the provision of and provide treatment to clients supported by the Department of Mental Health. As such, my availability is often limited to early mornings, evenings, and limited weekend hours. I prefer to schedule recurring appointment times. I invite you to reach out and ask questions to determine if I am a good fit. I look forward to empowering you along your journey of self-discovery, whether that be seeking self-acceptance, integration of self, or change-focused supports.
