Overview of Our Therapeutic Process Embarking on a therapeutic journey is a significant step towards improving your mental health and well-being. Our structured therapeutic process is designed to tailor treatment to your unique needs and circumstances. Below, we outline the key phases of our approach. Initial Consultation Our process begins with a 15-minute telephone consultation. This conversation is an opportunity for us to understand your immediate needs and the reasons that have led you to seek therapy at this time. This initial step helps us establish a foundation for your therapeutic journey. Getting to Know You Following the initial consultation, our first few sessions will be dedicated to getting to know each other. This includes: Evaluation of Past and Current Diagnosis: We will conduct a thorough evaluation to understand your mental health history and current state. Building a Therapeutic Relationship: Establishing a trusting and collaborative relationship is crucial for effective therapy. Assessment Phase If necessary, you will be sent assessments to track your progress regarding your symptoms. - Other potential mental health conditions that may be affecting your well-being, These assessments help us gain a deeper understanding of your mental health needs and tailor our approach accordingly. Once we have a clearer picture of your mental health, your sessions will focus on: Skills Training: introduce and train you in various therapeutic skills that can be applied to daily life. Mindfulness Activities: have the opportunity to practice mindfulness techniques aimed at enhancing your self-awareness and emotional regulation. Therapeutic Methods: explore additional therapeutic methods that are most beneficial for your personal growth and healing.
