Psychotherapist

To maximize Victoria's success on Zocdoc, we will take the high-relatability "vibe" of her Psychology Today profile—which is already converting—and refine it for Zocdoc’s layout. We will maintain her voice (the "hot freeze," the K-pop/Anime references, and the "Indigenous vibe") but structure it so it highlights her professional credentials as an EMDR and Ego State specialist. 1. Professional Statement (Zocdoc "Elevator Pitch") Focus: Identity, Relatability, and Immediate Connection "I specialize in helping 20-somethings who feel like they are 'glitching' while trying to figure it all out. Whether you’re navigating 'living at home' guilt, the burnout of feeling 'behind' on your timeline, or a nervous system that is stuck at 200% volume, I provide a safe harbor where you don't have to mask. I call this the 'hot freeze'—when so much is happening that you feel paralyzed. As an Assiniboine and Peruvian clinician raised in Utah, I understand the complex dance of balancing tradition, culture, and personal identity. I am a pansexual-affirming therapist and provide a fiercely safe space for POC and LGBTQIA+ individuals. We can do the deep work, but we can also find joy in what regulates you—whether that’s bonding over K-pop and anime or your favorite creative project. I’m here for the dreamers and the overthinkers who are tired of 'stiff suit' therapy and ready for a space that actually feels like home.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Working with me is a whole-person experience. My approach is rooted in the NATIVation philosophy and the Medicine Wheel, which balances your Spirit, Connection, Body, and Mind. When you feel 'stuck,' it’s a signal that your system is out of balance. We use a blend of Indigenous wisdom and evidence-based tools to help you return to harmony: EMDR (My Primary Modality): This is the key to moving past the 'buffering' phase. We use it to gently process the memories and survival responses that keep you frozen. Ego State Therapy: We look at the different 'parts' of you—the part that feels like a side character and the part that is ready to be the lead. Reiki & Somatic Healing: Because anxiety lives in the body as much as the mind. We are going to laugh as much as we cry, and we are definitely going to nerd out as superfans. You don’t need to have all the answers to start; you just need to be ready to build a life that feels authentic to you.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our journey is a sacred build. I don’t believe in rushing; we move at the speed of your nervous system to ensure you always feel grounded. Phase 1: Finding Our Common Ground Trust is everything. Our first few sessions focus on building rapport. Whether we’re discussing a Shonen arc or your cultural heritage, I want to know what makes you feel seen. We map out your Medicine Wheel to see which areas of your life need immediate care. Phase 2: Stabilization & Regulation Before we dive into the deep stuff, we focus on the basics: sleep, self-care, and emotional regulation. We use Ego State Therapy to understand your survival responses and Somatic/Reiki tools to help your body feel like a safe place to be. If needed, we use EMDR specifically for stabilization. Phase 3: Deep Neural Healing Once your foundation is solid, we use EMDR and other modalities to change the neuronetwork permanently. We heal old generational patterns stored in your DNA and life experiences. My goal is to help you move from 'surviving' your 20s to feeling grounded, connected, and whole.

More information on payments and coverage

I believe that financial stress shouldn’t be a barrier to healing your nervous system. At NATIVation, we aim for transparency so you can focus on your 'Medicine Wheel' balance rather than paperwork. Insurance & Verification We are in-network with several major providers, including Aetna, SelectHealth, and BlueCross BlueShield. Before our first session, our care team will perform a courtesy insurance check to estimate your coverage. However, insurance can be complex—I always recommend that you call your provider to confirm your specific outpatient mental health benefits and any co-pays you may be responsible for. Payment Options & Assistance If you are paying out-of-network or do not have insurance, my individual session rate is $139. We accept all major credit cards, as well as Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) cards. I understand that sometimes the 'buffering' phase of life includes financial hurdles. To help, we offer: CareCredit Financing: This allows you to set up manageable monthly payments so you can start your EMDR or somatic work without a large upfront cost. Our Process To keep our focus on your healing during our time together, we require all intake forms and insurance details to be completed through our portal 24 hours before your visit. If you have questions about your bill or need to set up a payment plan, our team is incredibly supportive and ready to help you navigate the 'logistics' so you can stay grounded in your work.
