What should a new client know about working with you?

My style is genuine, warm, and compassionate (and sometimes humorous). I leverage facets of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness Practices, and Psychodynamic Therapy among others to help clients reach their fullest potential. TREATMENT APPROACHES: Psychodynamic Therapy Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Positive Psychology Acceptance and Commitment (ACT) Strength-Based Family Systems Solution Focused Brief (SFBT) Psychoanalytic Therapy Exposure Response Prevention (ERP) Gestalt Therapy Transpersonal Humanistic Therapy Motivational Interviewing Behavior Modification

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My approach is client-centered, bringing a balance of psychoeducation, empathy, encouragement, exploration, and gentle challenging to sessions. I believe in a holistic approach to treatment and deeply value the client-therapist relationship. Typically when meeting someone for the first time, there is often a significant amount of distress and pain that needs to be divulged. I start where the client is, exploring what brought you here in the first place, what your goals are for treatment, and how I may be able to help.
