Getting to know Vincenzo Renda
Over the years, I have worked with many individuals experiencing symptoms related to depression, anxiety, and past trauma. These challenges are often connected to current or past relationships or typical life transitions and can become obstacles to progress in their personal and professional lives.
Through dialogue and honest self-assessment, clients can begin to identify effective strategies to overcome their symptoms. Evidence-based approaches such as supportive therapy, motivational interviewing, solution-focused therapy, and cognitive-behavioral therapy have proven effective in achieving these goals.
I hold a Master's in Social Work from Adelphi University, which has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to support clients through these challenges. I would like to talk and walk with you during these stressful times. Together, we can gain a deeper understanding of where you stand and why you are here at this moment. In a non-judgmental way, I will help identify and address social and self-imposed judgments. Our stories are unique, and in the entire history of the universe, there will never be another you.

My visit was a tele-visit and it went very well. For years, I was very hesitant about seeking therapy. One reason is because I was never a great believer and another reason is I had two experiences with therapists that didn't go so well. I am now very glad that I changed my mind. Vincenzo made me feel very comfortable. He is also a great listener. I felt heard which I think is a crucial component when engaging with a therapist. I felt a great sense of relief after our session that I haven't felt in a while--and it was only the first session! So, I am very much looking forward to continuing the journey and highly recommend Vinnie if you want to give it a shot!
