Getting to know Vincincia Wright

My name is Vincincia Wright, a Licensed Professional Counselor. I have 20 years of experience as an educator that included roles of a science teacher, advanced academics specialist, school counselor, and high school lead counselor. My goal is to utilize my educational and counseling experiences to help each individual meet their personal potential and goals. I currently am a licensed professional counselor. I am very passionate about guiding individuals ages 13 and older through transitions of life that may encompass dealing with issues of trauma that have plagued us from our past. My goal is to provide a safe and respectful environment that allows for a trusting therapeutic relationship while collaboratively working with clients to develop skills of self reflection, perseverance, and resilience. Trauma can take root in our everyday lives without us even knowing it. It can manifest in a myriad of ways that are not beneficial. Once we realize it’s there, it takes a lot of courage to ask for help dealing with it. Asking for help can be scary, and it’s my job to help guide and encourage you to take the steps necessary for change in your life….at your own pace based on your own needs.
