I am a European-born therapist, trained both abroad and in the US, with almost two decades of experience specializing in mental health and substance use disorders, which can affect not only the person seeking help but also family and loved ones. I am dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and achieve their full potential. I hold a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling and a Certificate in Addiction Counseling from Viterbo University. As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC), I specialize in supporting clients who feel held back by childhood conditioning, current stressors, or major life transitions. My ideal client is someone ready to embark on a journey of self-discovery and growth. Together, we will work to uncover your core values, clarify your priorities, and identify the barriers—whether internal or external—that may be preventing you from living the life you envision. In our first few sessions, we will establish a strong foundation of trust and collaboration. My approach is tailored to your unique needs, drawing from a variety of therapeutic modalities to guide you through your healing journey. What should a new client know about working with you?

Whether you find yourself at a crossroad in life, or have been battling depression and anxiety, the process of therapy helps identify and address behaviors, beliefs, and dynamics that prevent you from living your life to its fullest potential. As a therapist, I work collaboratively to facilitate this exploration, then guide you in developing healthier coping mechanisms, allowing you to be aligned with your values and goals in life. If trauma, whether past or recent, is a contributing factor to your current challenges, I use a treatment modality known as EMDR, recognized as the most effective and safe way to treat trauma. Overall, my role consists on finding ways to empower my clients, to help them gain the skills that lead towards their self-actualization. Life transitions are inevitable: the way we are affected is different for everyone, whether it’s a divorce, death of a loved one, loss of purpose, questioning of identity etc. Whether you need a quick tune-in or a longer time processing important events, I’d be honored to be part of that journey with you.
