Life can be difficult, and at times, people need an extra source of support. Often, we feel intimidated and overwhelmed by emotions, perceptions, and life circumstances. Yet, as we learn to be present with our emotions, explore our perceptions, and address life circumstances, a transformative process occurs-allowing us to grow, restore hope, and embrace a more meaningful life. Supporting others through this transformative process is a passion of mine. I provide an easy-going, genuine, and empathetic approach to treatment, helping clients feel comfortable and safe as they address their struggles. I strive to empower and support clients to become the best versions of themselves. I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and hold a Master's degree in Clinical Counseling from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. My extensive clinical experience spans a variety of settings, including community mental health, partial hospitalization programs, inpatient, and residential care. In therapy, I use a client-centered, collaborative, and holistic approach, incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). My interests include working with adolescents, families, and adults facing mood disorders, life transitions, eating disorders, self-injury, and trauma.
