Hi there, I'm Virginia! I provide counseling to teenagers and adults. I aim to create a space that feels supportive, collaborative and focused on real life progress. My focus I work best with clients who are open to exploring new perspectives and willing to engage actively in the therapeutic process. If you are motivated to make changes and ready to put in the work between session, I can support you in building strategies and creating progress. My approach I specialize in cognitive behavioral therapy and take a solution-focused, goal oriented approach to help clients create meaningful, lasting change. I work collaboratively with clients to ensure they feel engaged, supported, and confident in the progress they are making. My communication style My communication style is warm, supportive and collaborative, with a focus on helping clients feel comfortable and understood. At the same time, I take a direct and goal-oriented approach to ensure our work stays focused on meaningful progress. My journey to mental healthcare I've always been drawn to the mental health field and to learning about human behavior. My path to becoming a clinician was shaped by a desire to help clients recognize their own capacity for change and growth. I believe with the right support and tools, people have the ability to create meaningful change in their lives. My goals for you Through a collaborative approach to goal setting, working with clients to identify what they want to achieve and why it matters to them. From there, we break goals down into manageable, achievable steps so clients can begin making progress right away. Our first session The first session focuses on gathering important background information to better understand where you are currently and what you'd like to work toward. Together, we begin identifying clear goals and establishing a collaborative plan for forward progress.
