Getting to know Virginia Zarinebaf

Hi, my name is Ginny Zarinebaf, She/Her/Hers. I am a practicing LPCC with a Master's in Counseling from Argosy University, Schaumburg, and have been working in this field for the last 10 years. My approach to our time together is through a strength-based, compassionate, trauma-informed lens. My practice focuses on models of Attachment, Trauma-Informed CBT, Somatic work, and Mindfulness. I am also a Certified Trauma-Informed Yoga instructor. My approach I provide therapy through a strength-based approach, open communication, and space for growth. I strive to ensure safety, flow at your pace, and focus on your goals for our time together. My focus I work with children ages 12 and up, as well as adults up to age 65. My communication style When working together, I create a comfortable and easy pace to build alliance, provide space, and at times, use humor to make the experience comfortable and aligned with your expectations. Growth and transparency are important, and I invite you to express your needs during our sessions to ensure your voice is heard. My journey to mental healthcare I entered the world of therapy to meet the needs of others and to create a space for recovery, growth, and change. My hope is to integrate the mind and body experience in our sessions, creating an open and inclusive space for everyone. My goals for you Goals are important! I encourage you to be open with yourself and set goals as we work together. Reaching those goals builds confidence and uncovers your own resilience. My first session with you Our first session will be an introduction to one another, a chance to interact with me, and an opportunity to discuss your goals for treatment.
