Getting to know Viviana Niebylski

I have a strong background in mental health counseling with 13 years of experience in diverse clinical settings including residential treatment, crisis treatment, trauma recovery and private practice. I have an integrative psychodynamic approach, meaning that I value the past, the unconscious and the transpersonal. Our truths and stories are held in our bodies, so an exploration of the body-mind connection will always find it's way into conversations with me. I am aligned with Psychodynamic Therapy, Somatic Therapy and evidence based practices such as Internal Family Systems Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Many of us have had experiences that left a mark in our souls and bodies. While I don't believe in a cure or quick fix to ease such troubles, I do believe we can work together towards integrating and processing past experiences so that they may be more capably carried. I work with older adolescents, adults and older adults specializing in sexuality, navigating adulthood, cultivating authenticity and transmuting trauma.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I offer a free 15 minute phone consultation to explore our fit for working together and explore what your therapy needs are at this time. From there we can set up an intake appointment and collaborate on a treatment plan in our first session together. We may incorporate movement, sound and breath as part of our interventions, your body is an essential part of mental health treatment.
