The first few sessions focus on understanding the client’s concerns, history, strengths, safety needs, support system, and goals for therapy. Viviana collaborates with each client to develop a treatment plan that reflects what matters most to them.
Ongoing sessions may include identifying patterns, processing difficult experiences, practicing coping and emotional-regulation skills, strengthening communication, improving problem-solving, and building natural supports. Viviana uses a trauma-informed, person-centered, and strengths-based approach and may incorporate cognitive behavioral, solution-focused, motivational interviewing, and family-systems strategies.
Progress and treatment goals are reviewed regularly so care can be adjusted as the client’s needs change.
