Great to meet you! My name is Wanda Hill and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I received my Bachelors of Sociology with an Emphasis in Social Services from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro GA. I graduated from Texas State University- San Marcos in 2014 with a Masters of Social Work. I have been working in the mental health field for 13 years. Being able to help others unravel their life challenges and uncover the strengths they didn't know they had brings me a great sense of purpose. I have a variety of experiences in mental health as a Qualified Mental Health Professional, and I have worked in a number of settings, ranging from community mental health and correctional facilities to crisis intervention, victim advocacy, and private practice settings. Though I am a generalist and can treat a wide range of concerns; I specialize in treating individuals with depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and difficulty adjusting to life after difficult situations. Recognizing the significance of the relationship between our thoughts, feelings and behaviors. A bit about my approach to therapy My style is warm, direct, and collaborative. I use practical, evidence-based approaches like CBT, ACT, and solution-focused work, but tailored to your pace and your needs. Whether you're working through anxiety, depression, or past trauma, we’ll focus on building real skills, self-compassion, and a stronger connection to who you are and what you want.
