Psychotherapist
MI
I’m a South Asian therapist who brings warmth, curiosity, and genuine care to every session. Therapy with me isn’t about cold checklists; it’s real, down-to-earth, and centered on you. I love working with emerging and modern adults navigating identity, relationships, career changes, and healing old wounds, as well as couples who want to grow closer with kindness and intention. My approach blends compassion-focused, narrative, and CBT practices, always rooted in cultural awareness and care. Together, we’ll create a cozy, judgment-free space where it’s okay to be messy, human, and hopeful.

What should a new client know about working with you?

You don’t need the perfect words or a polished reason to start therapy with me. Just a bit of curiosity about what might feel different is enough. I show up as a real person; someone who listens deeply, asks thoughtful questions, and honors both the struggles and strengths you bring. Clients often tell me they feel safe, seen, and understood in our work together.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

We start with getting to know your story; what’s been weighing on you, what you’ve tried, and what you hope for. From there, we set small, realistic goals together, whether that’s building coping tools, untangling past wounds, or creating more ease in your relationships. Our sessions are conversational and collaborative: some weeks we might focus on practical skills, other weeks on exploring deeper patterns or meaning. Throughout, I’ll check in with you so the process feels supportive, flexible, and truly tailored to you.
