I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW/LICSW) with a Master's in Social Work from Stony Brook University, providing telehealth services to clients throughout the state. I work with adolescents and adults, specializing in issues related to stress, anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, and self-esteem. I use a variety of therapeutic approaches-including mindfulness, solution-focused therapy, narrative therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Acceptance Commitment Therapy-to help my clients make progress and reach their goals. My approach is tailored to each individual client, grounded in a strengths-based, client-centered philosophy. I have been trained in a range of treatment methods and frequently incorporate mindfulness, solution-focused therapy, narrative therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Acceptance Commitment Therapy. I strive to provide a supportive, safe space where clients can explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I believe it is essential to start where the client is, remain culturally sensitive, and co-create goals in a nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable and heard. I have experience working with adolescents and adults presenting a variety of mental health needs. My training and experience have equipped me to address concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, grief, self-esteem, and life transitions. I collaborate with clients to develop skills that help them navigate life's challenges and achieve their goals. My communication style is open and focused on building trust so clients feel safe. I am committed to creating an inclusive, culturally sensitive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable and truly heard. I became a social worker to help create change. My journey has provided me with valuable experiences working with individuals and communities across a variety of settings.
